Robust Nonlinear Predictive Control Applied to Induction Motors

In this paper, a nonlinear predictive controller is proposed for variable-speed induction motor. The research work directed towards improving the trajectory tracking capability, stability guarantee, robustness to parameter variations, and disturbance rejection. Generalized Predictive Control (GPC) without constraint output-constrained motor drive illustrated. variables be controlled are rotor speed flux trajectory. load torque considered an unknown disturbance. Finally, tuning of GPC automatically determined. simulation results show good performance dynamic system.
